WELCOME TO NOPHI RECORDS

We are an independent "boutique" record label based in Atlanta, Georgia.  Since our turbulent birth at the turn of the century, we have strived to bring forth excellence through music.  We are neither rich nor famous by modern standards, but we are well-seasoned purveyors of the underground music movement with friends and fans throughout the world.  We are happy to bring our sounds to you, and we hope you enjoy what you hear.  We are grateful for your interest, questions, comments and yes, music.

Nophi is currently owned and operated by Randy Garcia (r_garcia) and Matt Simpson (Maui threv), a pair of life-long musical nerds who seem to have been rather insidiously separated at birth.  For the remainder of 2006, we will be concentrating on just three releases.  In 2007, we will begin yet another era in our colorful history, as we shift focus away from instrumental electronic music and towards a wide array of new and interesting sounds.

We have also re-purposed our Phitunes music store as a one-stop distributor of digital and physical releases open to all independent labels.   If you would like to submit your catalog for distribution, or if you just want to tell us how frickin' dope the unicorn is, drop us a line.  We are always down to shoot the breeze with like-minded hooligans.
